A journey across continents, in search of identity and belonging, love and acceptance. This is the story of Rolling A Million - a true retelling of Tuy “2E” Gentry Buckner’s life. Orphaned during the Vietnam-America War, Tuy contracted polio at a young age. He was airlifted to America after being adopted by a dynamic family. His mother was a political activist and lawyer. His father was a world renowned baritone singer and a grandson of Thomas Watson, the founder of IBM.
Growing up American, Tuy did not think much about his Vietnamese heritage, until one day, in his early 20s, his mother asked him to join the very first Peace Walk in Vietnam against the USA trade embargo. His decision to visit his birth country changed everything, and led Tuy down the most extraordinary path - one that led him to finding his 2 families, Presidential handshakes, mafia boss meetups, drug addiction, loss, lies, redemption and discovering the answer to the ultimate question “Who Am I?”

This is how Tuy "2E" Gentry Buckner began his life. Yet he was fortuitous enough to have an American family who taught him that his disability did not define him.
A global traveler, Tuy returned to Vietnam in 1991, and under the most improbable circumstances, was reunited with his birth mother in 1993. 6 months to the day of finding his Vietnamese mother, again under the most improbable circumstances, he found his birth father in the Philippines.
Now, after dedicating the last 30 years to creating a life in Vietnam, Tuy is ready to tell his story. It includes meeting with Senators, Presidents, celebrities and mafia bosses, the search for identity, the desire for a home, and an insatiable quest to help others. Tuy’s journey has been anything but common; almost as if it was one in a million.
